About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Shift in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and/or first responders as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
