As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology and media location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle while upholding our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, helping to deter potential security-related issues.
Monitor activity within the location, maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting any suspicious behavior or conditions.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets in a technology-driven setting.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols or while responding to situations.
Follow all site-specific instructions and guidelines as provided by Allied Universal and the location management.
