As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by location, including within tech, media, and telecom facilities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Follow post orders and client instructions as provided by Allied Universal management.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
  • Support emergency response procedures as directed by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.
