Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors and employees at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
- Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support security-related operations within a technology-focused location.
- Assist with access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and visitors to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when required.
