Job Description As a Security Officer - Technology Site Patrol Driver in Matteson, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech-driven location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service. Your visible presence and proactive communication will help create a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to the unique environment of a technology-oriented site.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential risks to help to deter unwanted incidents.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
- Support Allied Universal and site management by documenting incidents and maintaining clear communication with team members.
- Remain alert to changes in the environment, technology, or procedures that may impact security-related operations.
