About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media campus, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting patrol coverage across the location, assisting with access points, and documenting observations. Bring strong customer service and communication as you support a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Guard Card/License preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a technology location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policy, and directing individuals to the proper destinations.
  • Document routine activity and incidents in written reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.
