About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Rounds in Mukilteo, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and routine checks. You will provide clear, respectful customer service, communicate observations, and document activities with integrity while working as part of a reliable, agile team. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies for an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete timely reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to the appropriate site representatives and/or Allied Universal leadership.
