About The Position

As a Security Officer - Technology Access Control Driver in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong customer service skills will create a welcoming environment while supporting a culture of integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license as part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as required during emergencies or incidents.
Maintain awareness of site-specific security-related technology and systems, such as access control devices and surveillance equipment.
