About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a Food and Beverage location where you will support daily operations through access control and badge checks, greeting employees and visitors while helping to maintain orderly entry points. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges or passes, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, and directing guests to authorized areas.
  • Screen and document inbound and outbound vehicle traffic for a food and beverage production location, including delivery drivers, trailers, and service vehicles, while maintaining required logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, radios, and access control devices, reporting irregular activity and documenting actions taken in incident reports.
