As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology environment, helping to deter potential security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will perform routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a secure atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within the location.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to company and client protocols.
Assist employees, visitors, and/or guests with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and helping to maintain order at entry and exit points.
