As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor cameras and alarms, and handle security-related inquiries with professionalism and care. You will support clear communication, document activity, and partner with site teams to help reduce incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X‐Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response protocols at a technology-focused location.
  • Staff the front desk post to greet, screen, and route visitors, issue temporary badges per policy, and coordinate with site contacts for guest check-in and escort requirements.
  • Monitor security-related systems and activity at the reception area, document events, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving alarms or reports, gathering details, and contacting appropriate internal teams and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete required reports and logs, maintain accurate visitor and delivery records, and support adherence to client policies for packages, deliveries, and restricted area access.
