As a Security Officer - Tech Sector Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to address inquiries and report any observed irregularities.
Document and report incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment in a dynamic tech and media setting.
