Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment.
