As a Front Desk professional in a dynamic tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting employees while monitoring access and responding to security-related situations. You will help to deter incidents through your presence and communication, utilizing technology to manage badge and alarm systems. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor and employee activity at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, communicating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
  • Assist with the distribution of visitor badges and/or passes as required by site-specific policies.
  • Provide information and directions to visitors and employees as needed, supporting a welcoming environment at the location.
