Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or guests at the front desk in a professional and courteous manner.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and logging all persons entering and/or exiting as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting with directions or information as needed.
Follow all security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff to support security-related operations at the location.
