Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the building.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and/or incident reports as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including contacting emergency services and communicating with site management.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
  • Support the implementation of site-specific security-related policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
