About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Dispatch Coordinator in Sterling, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Being at least 21 years of age is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate dispatch communications systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities across the location.
Receive and respond to calls for service, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and observations according to site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed to support incident response and resolution.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
Monitor access control systems and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all communications, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.
Support Allied Universal and client site-specific policies and procedures at all times.
