Job Description As a Security Officer - Utilities Dispatch Coordinator in Burr Ridge, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations to help maintain a secure environment. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate communications between personnel, visitors, and contractors within the utilities location to support security-related operations.
Dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed in response to incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all incoming and outgoing communications and activities at the dispatch post.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with patrol staff to help to deter unauthorized activity around the business and perimeter.
Maintain awareness of site activities and relay pertinent information to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
