As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage within the location.
  • Collaborate with team members and site management to address security-related concerns and uphold site protocols specific to a technology-focused environment.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
