Join Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecommunications location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and track activity using computer-based systems. You will remain a visible presence at entry points, respond to security-related concerns, and support teams with clear communication and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Guard card and/or license preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology office or campus location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff access control points by verifying identification and visitor authorization, issuing temporary badges, and directing employees, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries according to site requirements.
  • Monitor access control systems, alarms, and CCTV where assigned, and document unusual activity, access exceptions, and/or service requests in required logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
