Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial or chemical/petrochemical location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report observations according to site procedures.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or incident management, when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activities and promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
