As an unarmed Patrol Professional at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor and operate access control points and visitor processing, including checking identification, issuing badges, maintaining logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and service requests, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site representatives.
