About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access and perimeter checks, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or abnormal conditions.
  • Control access at gates and entry points by verifying authorization, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and logging visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, unusual events, and incident response actions, and promptly notify supervision of maintenance issues, damaged barriers, and/or suspicious conditions.
