About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Marshall, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flows. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns with strong customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
  • Respond to alarms, reports of suspicious activity, and security-related incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify hazards, damage, or unusual conditions.
  • Control access at entrances, gates, and/or loading areas by verifying identification, checking credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries and drivers to designated areas per site procedures.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions and/or through required reporting channels.
