You will conduct regular patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with both staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to management and/or the appropriate authorities as required.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry as per site instructions.
- Support retail staff and visitors with security-related needs and/or questions, providing a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
- Document and maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related events encountered during patrols.
