As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence throughout retail and mall locations. Your primary focus will be conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, offering you the opportunity to interact with the public and support a positive environment while embodying our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions and information as needed.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
