About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Coverage in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and communicating clearly with team members. Requirements

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail or mall location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all patrons and staff.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
Communicate clearly with team members, management, and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
