As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

This is primarily a driving post. A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the retail environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, management, and local authorities as necessary.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized entry as directed by site procedures.
Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft and/or policy violations, reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
