Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a primarily driving post, where you will contribute to a welcoming environment by upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity, all while working as part of a supportive and innovative team.

Requirements

This is primarily a driving post.
A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Work closely with store staff and management to address security-related concerns and assist with loss prevention efforts.
Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
