Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support store teams with clear communication and customer service. You will observe activity, document concerns, and escalate issues as needed, using computer and/or tablet tools when available. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have loss prevention experience preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter or parking areas as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical situations, and/or suspicious activity, and contacting local responders when appropriate.
Monitor and report potential theft indicators and other unusual activity, documenting observations and escalating concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Assist with access control and closing or opening routines as assigned, including observing entry points, verifying deliveries or contractors when applicable, and reporting maintenance or lighting concerns that could impact security-related operations.
