Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns, unusual activity, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support the orderly flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries at the location.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, operational concerns, and security-related matters.
