About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Coordinator in Lancaster, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to manage entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting suspicious behavior and/or damaged property, and following post orders for after-hours or restricted-access areas.
