About The Position

GTMR is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage our industrial security program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable government requirements.  This position is located full-time at GTMR’s Hollywood MD facility, which is currently a classified possessing site with a facility clearance and classified working spaces. The FSO will be instrumental in maintaining all aspects of security compliance, including classified spaces.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret Security clearance.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an FSO or similar role supporting DoD programs.
  • Thorough knowledge of NISPOM, CUI requirements, and related federal regulations.
  • Experience with DISS/NBIS and Insider Threat Program management.
  • Experience with DCSA National Industrial Security System (NISS) and facility inspections.
  • Familiarity with APACS and SPOT programs.
  • FSO Program Management for Possessing and/or Non-Possessing Facilities training (or ability to complete within 6 months).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and interface confidently with senior leadership, government representatives, and contractors.
  • Willingness to be on call for alarms or security incidents after hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to maintain a facility security clearance with DCSA.
  • Maintain and update as needed Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs) and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with government and prime contractor security representatives on contract security requirements (DD254s, visit requests, etc.).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for DCSA and other relevant agencies.
  • Manage personnel clearances (initiation, periodic reinvestigations) through DISS/NBIS.
  • Oversee Insider Threat Program and act as Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO).
  • Conduct required self-inspections and internal security audits.
  • Develop and maintain physical security controls to meet current and future classified requirements (access control, intrusion detection, badging, key control).
  • Support secure storage and classified holdings management.
  • Prepare and respond to security incidents and reportable events.
  • Develop and deliver initial and annual security awareness training for all cleared personnel.
  • Create and maintain a culture of security compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Support special security requirements such as COMSEC or CPSO responsibilities if future contracts are required.
  • Liaise with local and national security organizations to stay current on policy and best practices.
