As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout the facility. Your role supports a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Verify the credentials of individuals entering and leaving the premises, following site-specific access control procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
• Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, access events, and any security-related observations.
