As a Security Officer Security Screener in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with post orders and site guidelines while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activity according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional response.
