As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help coordinate security-related response by receiving calls, monitoring systems, and directing on-site officers via radio and phone. You will document activity, support incident communications, and provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Receive and prioritize calls for service via phone, radio, and/or electronic systems, dispatching Security Professionals and coordinating response to alarms, disturbances, and/or requests for assistance.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, fire and life system panels, and/or other monitoring tools, promptly communicating observations and escalating issues per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical teams and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, dispatch logs, and shift documentation, maintaining clear communication during shift turnovers and throughout the day.
