About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to incidents, and support daily security-related operations. In this fast-paced role, you will help maintain situational awareness, assist with alarm and access activity, and deliver outstanding service through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and employees by monitoring communications, following site-specific policies, and coordinating security-related responses when appropriate.
  • Receive, prioritize, and document calls, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, then relay information to field personnel and/or site contacts.
  • Monitor cameras, radios, phones, and other dispatch systems to help identify unusual activity and support timely reporting of incidents and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident records, and shift reports while communicating updates to supervisors, responders, and/or client representatives.
  • Support regular and random patrol activities by dispatching officers to assigned areas around the location and perimeter as conditions and operational needs vary by site.
