About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, alarm, and/or camera activity from a dispatch or control center location and communicate security-related information to on-site personnel and/or local contacts.
  • Receive, prioritize, and document calls for service, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity, then dispatch the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, and relay updates to supervisors, client representatives, and/or responding agencies as needed.
  • Support government location operations by helping to coordinate routine and critical communications, track the status of assigned personnel, and follow post orders and site-specific policies.
