About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Caledonia, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license to meet AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, people-first team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control steps, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity or conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations through approved communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders when needed.
  • Complete detailed shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and support badge, key, and visitor credential processes per site policy.
