Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, support access awareness, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, personal items, and/or authorized deliveries at designated entry points while following post orders and reporting unusual activity or prohibited items.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or delivery documentation to help support authorized movement throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter, with duties and conditions that may vary by location.
