As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related operations by screening packages and belongings, operating X-ray equipment, and managing access control and badge checks for employees and visitors. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols, document incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated entry points by verifying identification, checking authorization to enter, and directing individuals and/or vehicles according to site procedures.
• Inspect bags, packages, and other items as required by post orders, using approved screening methods and documenting findings per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols and/or observation checks around entrances, staging areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
