Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with post orders and client-facing requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and document screening results, irregularities, and security-related concerns in required logs and reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions related to shipping, receiving, and trailer movement.
