As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help screen people and/or materials, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations through attentive observation and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders, facility rules, and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document screenings, inspections, and incidents with clear and accurate reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location and perimeter, as assigned, while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
