Security Officer Screening Attendant
About The Position
As a Security Officer Screening Attendant in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location, our Screeners help support a secure and welcoming environment by screening access points, observing activity, and reporting security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, delivery, and shipment activity to help support orderly operations at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
