About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in North East, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication throughout the location. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, assigned policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing conditions and reporting security-related concerns based on site procedures.
