As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting access control and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as they arise.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to support a secure environment for all patrons and staff.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established site procedures and instructions from Allied Universal leadership.
