As a Security Officer - Logistics Site Screener in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas, staying visible, and engaging with individuals on site. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and guidelines to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items at the logistics and distribution location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access protocols and information related to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain accurate records of individuals entering and leaving the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and public officials as needed.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and assisting with evacuations or other site-specific actions as directed.
