Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, supporting a secure environment for customers and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
X Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for retail staff and patrons.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Work closely with retail management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the location.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.
Assist with access control procedures, including checking credentials as required, to help to maintain an orderly environment.
