As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or appropriate personnel.
Support campus operations by assisting students, staff, and visitors with directions and information as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and promote a welcoming environment.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
