As a Security Officer - School Perimeter Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for all individuals on the premises.
Document and report any observed security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations as directed by site leadership.
Support emergency preparedness drills and participate in evacuation procedures or other emergency protocols as required by the location.
